Tranquilla is the collaboration of long-time friends, J.J. Tranquilla, Sean Cobb, Kris Rosentrator, and Brian Wotring. Their music has been described as Folk-Punk. Influences range from The Replacements to Duran Duran. The band is based in Eagle River, Alaska. Their debut album, October Forever, was released in late 2006.
